Nitro GT makes splash
Not even a downpour could hamper the spirits of those racing as Nitro GT makes a triumphant albeit wet return to the Sultanate.
Brunei hosted its first Nitro GT race in over a year on Sunday at the Taman Budiman Raceway at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, Brunei.
Nine racers turned up for the weekend race, a small but promising turnout for a class which has seen a decline in popularity in Brunei over the past couple of years.
The wet and slippery conditions made for an amazing spectacle. There was plenty of action despite both cars and drivers struggling for grip.
Though the first Nitro GT race in Brunei was met with unfavorable weather, the class looks to be heading in the right direction with organisers pledging to do what they can to revive this exciting and fun class.
